The European adventure begins for Chery Omoda 5, which took its place among the first representatives within the steps of returning to Turkey. It has been announced that the first batch of the OMODA series, which was also offered for sale in the Turkish market as of March 2023, set off from Shanghai. The vehicles, which set off on May 18 and 19 to be delivered to Spain and Italy for the first time, will step into the European mainland within 45 days. OMODA 5 is among the highlights of the brand, increasing its export sales by 9 percent in April compared to March and reaching 10,781 units.

With these successful sales numbers shared for Omoda 5, export sales exceeded 10 thousand units for the first time in a month. The model, which attracts attention all over the world, ranks sixth in Chinese automobile exports, according to data from the China Passenger Transport Federation. So far, the cumulative export sales of OMODA 5 from January to April have reached 37,895 units. For the model, which can only be preferred with a gasoline engine for now in Turkey, the fully electric version will also be included in the range in the coming period. This means that it will attract the attention of a new user base.
