“Chêne Pointu”, in Clichy-sous-Bois, an exhibition to bear witness to the reality of the neighborhoods

The fight against the tiger mosquito in France

How to bring art to the city? This is the bet that starts on Saturday September 30 in Clichy-sous-Bois. Photographers, filmmakers, writers, visual artists, painters… Thirteen artists bear witness to the reality of these neighborhoods. Clichy-sous-Bois branded after the death in 2005 of two teenagers Zyed and Bouna who were trying to escape the police and the riots that followed. Clichy-sous-Bois, its buildings and its 1,200 people who will be rehoused after the destruction or renovation of their homes. From these intertwined stories was born the exhibition “Chêne Pointu”.
