The first three games of the English Premier League on Sunday brought two clear home wins and one draw.
Chelsea moved up to share second place in the series by crushing Aston Villa 3-0, and Manchester United’s new head coach Ruben Amorim got his first Premier League win when ManU beat Everton 4–0 at Old Trafford.
Tottenham and Fulham played the aforementioned 1-1 draw at home.
Chelsea got away Nicholas Jackson already in the 7th minute, and Enzo Fernandez completed the break lead to 2–0. Cole Palmer ended Everton’s painful day with a 3–0 goal in the 83rd minute.
Chelsea have 25 points from 13 games and are level with Arsenal. Liverpool, who will face Manchester City at home in today’s expected top fight, is six points ahead of the duo before their match tonight.
