A 58-year-old Chatham man is facing charges in connection to a stabbing incident early Saturday morning.
Chatham-Kent police began investigating a disturbance call around 2:30 am between a resident on Gray Street in Chatham and three men.
Through investigation, police learned a confrontation occurred resulting in one of the three men being stabilized prior to them leaving the area in a vehicle, police said.
A license plate of the vehicle was obtained and police said a 19-year male was located with a small stab wound.
The accused was arrested for aggravated assault and dangerous weapons, police said.
Police believe this is an isolated incident and there is no risk to public safety.
