Disobeying curvew leads to charges
Allegedly ignoring a curfew has resulted in a 38-year-old Wallaceburg man landing in more trouble with the law.
Police said the accused was released last May with conditions that included he remain inside his home from 11 pm to 8 am and a ban on possessing weapons or drugs without a valid prescription.
Just before 2 am Tuesday, police reportedly saw the accused riding a bicycle on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg.
The man was arrested and, while being arrested, police alleged he was found with a knife and suspected methamphetamine in his possession.
The accused was charged with three counts of failing to comply with a release order and taken into custody pending a bail hearing, police said.
