Chatham Kent police seek help to identify person who drew swastikas

Several swastikas have been drawn on vehicles, business doors and signs and Chatham-Kent police appealing to the public to help find who is responsible.

Police said the mischief incidents occurred overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday in the areas of Keil Drive South, Baldoon Road and Park Avenue West in Chatham.

Anyone with information that could help identify the individual or details about these incidents is asked to contact investigating officer Alexandria Mungar at [email protected] or by calling 519-436-6600.

“The Chatham Kent Police Service takes this matter seriously and is committed to investigating this incident thoroughly,” stated a media release issued Tuesday. “We thank the public for their cooperation and support in this matter.”
