Charlotte Kalla became mother to little Alvin in July 2023.
Now she has taken her son on a sun holiday – to a place that many Swedes recognise.
“October has started with explorations and holidays in more southern latitudes,” she writes on Instagram.
With his nine Olympic medals is Charlotte Kalla37, Sweden’s foremost Olympian on the women’s side ever. In 2015, she also achieved the feat of being the first woman in the country to win both an individual WC gold and an Olympic gold. Crazy enough, Kalla has also collected 50 SM medals. Talk about being a Swedish legend!
Call about motherhood
When Kalla had decided to end her career, she quickly jumped on a new exciting mission. She had agreed to be in “Let’s dance” in 2023, and she went far in the competition. What was extra spectacular was that Charlotte Kalla was pregnant during the recording period.
– Curiosity about life outside elite sports outweighs what a continued investment would entail, she said in connection with announcing her resignation.
Together with partner Fredrik Karström she had the son Alvin on July 15, 2023. The little boy has thus turned 1 year old now.

– I have come to many insights about myself. Alvin really means everything. I had thought about whether I would get annoyed when it didn’t turn out the way I thought it would. I’ve had the privilege of being selfish all my adult life. My skiing and training have always come first and I would never have given up on sleep or anything like that, she said a year ago in Sundsvalls Tidning.
– But now I think it’s so cool that the irritation I was thinking about doesn’t appear. And that because of what I feel for another, small person, who is now the boss, she continued.
The new pictures with Alvin
Now it turns out that she took the “boss” on a lovely family holiday to sunny Spain. On Instagram, the former skiing star has shared pictures where she walks with her son, partly when he is sitting in a hiking backpack, partly when he is lying in a carriage.
“October has started with explorations and holidays in more southern latitudes,” she writes on Instagram.
Several of her followers speculate where she vacations with her family. It turns out that several people are quite right, they recognize the environments she stays in. It’s about a real Swedish paradise in southern Spain: Nerja.

“See you are on the Europa balcony in Nerja. Nice there, was there a couple of days ago”, comments one person.
“It looks so lovely, take the opportunity to enjoy it,” writes another.
“Looks like Nerja,” writes a third.
“ENJOY and fill up the memory bank,” writes a fourth.
