The 35-year-old chose to end his long skiing career last year and now gets to cheer from a distance. It was also a blue-yellow dream start to the WC 2023 when Sweden took a phenomenal triple in the sprint.

The Norwegians were completely without a chance when Jonna Sundling won WC gold, Emma Ribom took the WC silver and Maja Dahlqvist clinched the WC bronze. A real bang start for our Swedish women’s national team and Kalla was hugely impressed by her former teammates.
