The finale of “Let’s Dance” was unexpectedly dramatic for Charlotte Kalla.
Now the skiing legend opens up about the great fear of the baby in the belly.
– I thought it was unpleasant, she tells P4 Norrbotten.
She is one of Swedish skiing’s greatest heroes of all time after a whole bunch of Olympic, WC and SM gold over the years. We will never forget what a giant Charlotte Kalla made for Swedish sports in the tracks with all the unforgettable moments.
Dramatic finale
But since last year, the skiing career has ended and recently we have been able to make new acquaintances with the dancer Charlotte Kalla. The conditions have not been the easiest with a pregnant belly, but the 35-year-old has really fought and exceeded many people’s expectations in the TV4 program “Let’s Dance”.

She has endured many tough training hours and also harsh words from the jury member Tony Irving to make it all the way to the finals of the popular TV show. Unfortunately, it was second place for Kalla and the dancer Tobias Karlsson finally after a highly dramatic finale on Saturday night.

Called fear
The skiing legend, with the big winner’s skull, was really disappointed at first, but a few days later she can feel pride.
– Just a moment later when I got some perspective on the whole thing, I am so very satisfied with the journey I have had to make, she says in an interview with P4 Norrbotten.
– It was difficult there at the beginning when the jury assessments were very harsh, or especially from Tony’s side.

Charlotte Kalla was in the middle of the chaos that arose when environmental activists stormed onto the floor in the middle of the final dance. Now she talks with honest words about her feelings during the drama and that she was absolutely not prepared for something like this on live television.
– Well, it wasn’t on the map. Really not. I was very shocked. But also very determined that they should not be allowed to ruin my final, says Charlotte in the interview.

With a few days distance to the final drama, Kalla also opens up about the great fear she felt afterwards. When it comes to the baby she’s carrying and what could have actually happened during the Let’s Dance finale.
– I thought it was unpleasant in retrospect when I got home late at night and started thinking about what would have happened if they had rushed into me. Because they had no idea how we moved on the dance floor. If I had collided with them unexpectedly enough, I probably wouldn’t have been able to parry against them and it could have caused a trauma to the stomach. I am so afraid of that, she says to the radio channel.
