January 7, 2015 – January 7, 2025. Just 10 years ago, a phase of terrorism of exceptional magnitude began in France. In January: a series of attacks which firstly targeted the newspaper Charlie Hebdo. And in November, the even more deadly attack against the Bataclan, in particular.
In January 2015 at Parisfrom 7 to 9: 3 attacks follow one another. Three Islamist terrorists, all French, kill 17 people with weapons. They want to avenge the prophet Mohammed, in their words, caricatured by the newspaper Charlie Hebdo. Twelve people are killed at the editorial office. The next day, a municipal police officer was shot dead in Montrouge, not far from a Jewish school. Then, on January 9, there was the anti-Semitic attack at the Porte de Vincennes: four customers of the Hyper Cacher were shot dead.
Ten years later, we chose to rebroadcast this report, based on editorial archives. It plunges us violently into the heart of these three days, which have not yet finished raising emotion in France and well beyond.
