Charles Leclerc: “I don’t see pink as a feminine color at all”

Charles Leclerc I dont see pink as a feminine color

He’s the racing driver everyone’s talking about. Charles Leclerc is also the ambassador of APM Monaco. Le Journal des Femmes met the athlete in the jewelry brand’s Parisian boutique.

He finished the year at 5th place in the 2023 F1 rankings. A position which confirms his status as a star driver. At 26 years old, Charles Leclerc is therefore one of the references in its environment. In the wake of his elder Lewis Hamilton, a notorious esthete, the young man increasingly asserts his attraction to fashion. Since 2023, the sportsman has embodied the jewelry brand APM Monaco, originally, like him, from the Rock. “I am very proud to represent the brand internationally, especially since we share exactly the same values”, he explains one evening in September to a handful of journalists gathered in the APM Monaco boutique at Opéra, in Paris. That day, Charles Leclerc wore a denim jacket with rolled up sleeves, which revealed a branded lining Dior. A white T-shirt, denim and designer sneakers make up her outfit. “What I wear the most is my Ferrari outfit to go to the paddock. The rest of the time, I have a rather classic style.”, he confides. Which does not prevent him from allowing himself a few fantasies on occasion: “I really like the light pink. In my head, I don’t see this color as a feminine shade at all.”. The accessory that never leaves him? Bracelets, which he always keeps with him. This is evidenced by the shiny jewelry that adorns his wrists, from the collection that links him to APM Monaco. A relationship which is not about to end, since the brand has just announced that in 2024, Charles Leclerc would retain her role as muse.

Giorgio Armani, sport and hair

To appear in the top 5 of F1, Charles Leclerc adheres to rigorous discipline. The one who concedes to pass “quite a lot of time in the gym” follow two daily workouts to build muscle “especially the neck, one of the most important muscles”. Practicing a sport perceived as very virile – Charles Leclerc does not hesitate to repeat how delighted he is to see the discipline become more feminine – fortunately does not prevent the young man from taking on her interest in cosmetics and fashion. Her mother, a hairdresser, gave her some valuable advice; he also claims to have been using his products forever. Style-wise, the sportsman has great admiration for the designer Giorgio Armani, at the head of a true luxury empire. Unsurprisingly, Charles Leclerc’s absolute icon is a transalpine couturier, who notes many similarities between the Monegasque and Italian looks, more Mediterranean than the Parisian silhouette. The fact remains that in the French capital, the fans are under the athlete’s spell. As proof, the small crowd that formed in front of the windows of the APM Monaco store to try to catch a glimpse of Charles Leclerc’s face between two necklaces.
