Indeed, the singer, who died on October 1, 2018, lent his voice to the Pixar movie. He voices the protagonist, Carl Fredricksen, in the French version of the animated film. In front of him, we can hear the voices of the actors, particularly active in the dubbing of Tom Trouffier (Russell), Guillaume Lebon (Doug) or Richard Leblond (Charles F. Muntz). Note also that Charles Aznavour also lends his voice in the Quebec version of the feature film.
up there is an animated film, the tenth produced by Pixar studios. Released in 2009, it is signed Pete Docter (Monsters & Co., Drunk) and Bob Peterson (screenwriter of Nemo’s world). Like many Pixar animated films, up there was a real critical success, notably winning the Oscar for best animated film and the Golden Globe for best animated film in 2010. In the original version, we can hear the voices of actors Edward Asner and Christopher Plummer.
Synopsis – After the death of his wife Ellie, Carl, an old man, remembers the dream he had with her to go to South America.
