According to the NAL, there must be at least one public charging station in an area of 500 by 500 meters (so-called ‘neighborhoods’) with at least 125 households. In the province of Utrecht, this is successful in 85 percent of the neighbourhoods. Only South Holland scores better with 93 percent. The leader in the province is the municipality of Oudewater, where all neighborhoods have at least one charging station. Nieuwegein is also doing well, that city has the most charging stations in relation to the number of households.
