Chapter 5 is the worst chapter of Fortnite for many players because they have to endure the most annoying weapons

In Fortnite, each new chapter and its season sets a different tone in the meta. Depending on the theme, Epic chooses its weapons for players. However, Chapter 5 has produced some of the worst metas, according to fans.

Why do fans dislike Chapter 5? The reason for this is the weapons that Epic Games introduced in its seasons. These include the waterbending powers, Magneto’s gloves or the vehicles that could be upgraded to become tanks.

All of these weapons and many more dominated the metas of each season. If you wanted to win, you used these weapons, otherwise your opponent would have used them. An annoying affair in which fun quickly turns into discontent.

The worst weapons in every season

How bad was the chapter? Every season in Chapter 5 had its weapons that caused discontent. Whether it was the shield from Season 1, the waterbending power and Hades chains from Season 2, or the cars and Magneto’s gloves in Season 3. In every season there was at least one meta weapon that was way too powerful and could be found in almost every loadout.

Fans have had enough of it. The OG times with the simple SCAR are over and many don’t like these super weapons at all. Some users on Reddit write the following:

  • “As a player who primarily plays on PC, waterbending without aim assist was still a full auto sniper attack. I understand the hate, but damn, they were fun” – ABS_TRAC

    • What does Season 4 look like? No better. Through the Marvel season, Epic Games has introduced various superpowers into the meta, including Captain America’s shield. Not only is this device far too powerful, it tracks its targets and returns to its owner after a throw.

    You can also block enemy fire for a while and charge at your opponents while blocking. This, coupled with Warmachine’s jets, makes you almost unstoppable. Captain America’s shield also annoys players.

    After all, according to leakers, an OG season for Chapter 2 will start after Season 4.
