Work of the Franco-Swiss architect Le Corbusier who was inspired by the mosque of Sidi Brahim in El Atteuf in Algeria, the Notre-Dame-du-Haut chapel is a Catholic chapel designed between 1953 and 1955 at the top of the hill de Bourlémont which overlooks the town of Ronchamp in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Since 2016, it has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
