In March, the online TV series and movie platform quietly launched an experiment among customers in Peru, Chile and Costa Rica in Latin America, asking them to pay extra when sharing their account passwords with non-households. However, news from Peru revealed that there was chaos in the testing of this feature.
NO INFORMATION FROM NETFLIX
According to the report of Rest of World, which spoke to more than a dozen Netflix subscribers in Peru; Numerous users in Peru reported that they did not receive an email or notification from Netflix and were not formally notified of the policy change. Judging by the report, no notification was made even two months after Netflix’s first announcement.
