Sweden first in the world with the new ferry
The new ferry is different and a big change compared to SL’s other passenger ferries. Not only is the look of that ferry completely new, it also works differently.
The ferry actually floats above the surface of the water, on what looks like three stable poles. With it, Sweden can become the first country in the world to have an electric floating ferry.

Sveriges Radio published an article about the floating ferry on its Facebook page, and Stockholmers were not slow to express their displeasure.
There are also those who think it sounds scary that we will be the first in the world to use the ferry.
