The Walking Dead maker persuaded Chandler Riggs to a small extras role
In episode 24 of the 11th season of The Walking Dead, Riggs can be seen in the refuge Hilltop. But only with eagle eyes. He stands in the background and wears a big hat. His appearance was not planned, rather he was quickly persuaded when visiting a set, as producer Angela Kang 2023 revealed to Entertainment Weekly:
Riggs was in the area and wanted to see his old friends again. Then they needed extras in the background and [Regisseur] Greg Nicotero said: ‘Do you want to try? Come on, stand there behind! ‘
According to Riggs, he had Not even put on a costume but only put on a hat. Nevertheless, the small Easter Egg moment will look forward to many old fans of the horror series.

What does the Walking Dead future look like?
The franchise is far from over with the grand finale of the main series. The spin-off the Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will receive a third season this year and The Walking Dead: Dead City.
A continuation of Tales of the Walking Dead is currently under development. In addition, many want a second season of the offshoot The Ones Who Live with the fan-loving Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira). So far, however, it has not been officially confirmed.
