In League of Legends, the Champion Alistar, the old bull, was supposed to get a new skin with an update. The “Grand Reckoning Alistar Skin” was even shown on the LOL test server. But the reactions were so bad that Riot Games has now removed him.
That was the skin: The “Grand Reckoning Alistar Skin” skin was shown in an unofficial Spotlight video on February 19, 2025 on YouTube. The skin was already available on the test server.
He is in a row with a variety of other “Grand Reckoning” skins for champs such as Draven, Talon, Sion and Rell and part of a special event. The event “The big billing” is a game mode that brings an arena to LOL.
Alistar’s skin turns him into a kind of boxer or martial arts fighter, with gloves and a martial purple-red-black look.
The new Skin from Alistar would certainly not have been quite as expensive:

How were the reactions? The reactions to the skin were extremely negative on YouTube. Comments on YouTube were:
Riot Games deletes the skin from the test server
This is the latest development now: Riot Games apparently took the feedback from the community to heart and deleted the skin from the test server (via X).
The decision is welcomed in the comments. The skin is compared with other mistakes from Riot Games, appealing alternative outfits for champions. However, some say that instead of extinguishing the skin, Riot Games could have simply given him away. Apparently the new Alistar Skin was planned as a reward in boxes.
