Leksand is really struggling right now.
After yet another loss, Challe Berglund was very angry.
– I’m damn pissed off, he says on TV4.
Leksand has impressed this season but is now in a real nightmare period. Challe Berglund’s teams have found it desperately difficult to win and on Thursday night the Dalmas suffered their seventh straight loss in the SHL.
Playsand fell
Despite taking the lead in the second period through Max Veronneau so you still couldn’t hold out at Bortais in Örebro. The home team equalized a bit into the third period thanks to Ludvig Larsson and everything had to be decided by extension.

But then Örebros needed Jonathan Lekkerimäki just 18 seconds to decide the match to Leksand’s great chagrin. The seventh straight loss takes the Dala team further and further away from the quarter-final place in the SM play-offs.
Challe’s Wrath
Immediately after the final whistle, head coach Challe Berglund was furious.
– It is too bad to let Lekkerimäki go through like that. A pass behind the extended goal line and he has a free position. It’s lousy, says the coach in TV4.

Berglund was also really annoyed after Lukas Vejdemo been questionably called off for offside in connection with a free position.
– I’m damn pissed off that we didn’t get a goal when Vejdemo was free. It’s not even offside, says Challe after the match.

But the Leksand coach can still end the interview with a twinkle in his eye.
– I’m going to go in and take a neck swing at the linesmen here. Then there will be an uppercut and so on, No then, it’s over, he says in the TV broadcast.
