The United Nations announced Wednesday, March 19, that the budget allocated to the humanitarian response to Chad for the year 2025 is almost divided by two. Funding from the Humanitarian Affairs Coordination Office (OCHA) increased from 1.4 billion to 836 million dollars. With this drop of 43 %, only 2.8 million people, out of the 7 million initially planned, will be able to benefit from assistance this year.
