We know the results of the legislative elections of December 29, 2024. Still provisional figures which give approximately two thirds of the seats to the Patriotic Salvation Movement. The MPS, in power for more than thirty years and the main support of President Mahamat Idriss Déby, should therefore have an absolute majority in the new Assembly.
