Chad: Journalists outraged after arrest of Tchadinfos editor-in-chief

In Chad, journalists’ organizations have expressed their indignation since the arrest on Wednesday, August 7, of Oumar Ali Badour, a journalist at the Chadian Press and Publishing Agency and editor-in-chief of the Tchadinfos website. He was taken away by hooded men from the National Agency for State Security (ANSE) as he arrived at the police station in the 8th district of Ndjamena, where he had been summoned for unknown reasons.
