In Chad, the authorities legislated with an ordinance on the prevention and repression of violence against women and girls. This order comes 72 hours after the launch of a thirty-day online petition launched by the Chadian League for Women’s Rights to demand concrete actions from the authorities in order to put an end to the impunity of criminals, but also to inaction of the authorities on the subject.
