The owner and CEO of the company is Alexander Riddermark40. He has denied the accusations and believes that the company is clear about its ethical guidelines.

Riddermark founded the successful car company in 2007. Just over 15 years later, Riddermark Bil sells tens of thousands of used cars every year, and had a turnover of almost SEK 10 billion in 2023, according to data from Carup.

And there is no need for the CEO either. In 2023, Alexander Riddermark took out a salary of SEK 1.3 million, which gave him a juicy monthly salary of just over SEK 108,000.

Alexander Riddermark and his wife live in a luxury villa

Alexander Riddermark is married to his wife Lotta and together they live in a villa in the Stockholm suburb of Bromma.

Climbed Mount Everest: “Saw ten dead bodies”

In 2012, Alexander Riddermark and three friends made a 60-day expedition with the goal of climbing the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest. Riddermark, then 29, was the only one of the quartet to succeed.

– You live in tents, walk up and down the mountain, sleep at high altitude, feel bad, have headaches and stomach problems. I was physically broken and mentally weak at times. Self-confidence failed many times and I doubted whether it was even possible to get to the top, he has told in an interview with All about travel.

He lost a total of 15 kilos during the expedition.

– I wasn’t afraid, but I had a sick feeling in my stomach quite a few times. When you start the summit attack from 8,250 meters, there are dead climbers along the trail. I probably saw ten dead bodies, says Alexander Riddermark.

There are only 40 Swedes who have ever climbed the world’s highest mountain, and one reason for that is the staggering price. Climbing Mount Everest costs half a million kroner and up, according to information from Today’s Industry.

The permit to climb the mountain alone is over 100,000 kroner.
