In the Central African Republic (CAR), President Faustin-Archange Touadéra affirmed that “major progress” has been made in the political and pacification process of the CAR, this October 23, 2023 in Bangui, during a follow-up meeting of the Khartoum agreements. Agreements signed in 2019 by the government with 14 armed groups and supposed to put an end to the crises that have shaken the country for more than a decade.
