New hard blow for admirers of Celine Dion. Sick, the singer announced on social networks on Saturday January 15, the cancellation of the dates of her Courage tour in North America. For several months, the Canadian diva has suffered from persistent health problems, pushing her doctors to cancel new concerts. “I was really hoping to be ready to go back on stage now, but I find that I have to be more patient,” wrote Celine Dion in the caption of a press release announcing these cancellations.
After being pushed back by the Covid-19 pandemic, the star’s concert dates had been canceled until February 2022 due to “severe and persistent muscle spasms.” In this new press release, it is indicated that Celine Dion will return to the stage at the end of April 2022. “I will be so happy when I regain my health, that the pandemic will be behind us and that I will go on stage again”, concludes the singer.
