The success program “Love is Blind Sweden” is back on Netflix with a new season. Again, love -destroying singles, the capsules mentioned, enter to date, and at best get engaged – with someone they have never seen.
One of the participants aroused strong reactions early: 42-year-old real estate consultant Ola Jönsson. At first, it was mainly about viewers experiencing him “a little special” and “fluffy”.
But soon the tough tone considerably and since then the criticism of Jönsson’s behavior in the program has not been gracious. Among other things, people have reacted strongly to things he says in the program around diet and appearance to Milly Carlsson As Jönsson dated, before he chose to cancel the engagement – the week before the wedding week.
But now Jönsson gets support from an unexpected point. Namely by the two previous participants Oskar Nordstrand and Meira Omarwho is a married couple since last season.
It was when the celebrity couple recently visited Aftonbladet’s program ”The after -talk “ And Jönsson’s behavior again came to talk. Both Nordstrand and Omar also began to go hard against Jönsson’s behavior.
– I think it was so nasty, says Omar.
But then the couple instead began discussing Netflix’s responsibility in the whole. They believe that the company itself has chosen to take advantage of the situation by having fun at Jönsson’s expense in its social media.
– You have cast him, he still works for you. He is a man like everyone else, says Nordstrand.
He also says that as a viewer you never get to see the whole picture and are critical of how much focus Netflix has chosen to put on this particular couple.
– Is he problematic? One hundred percent, but Netflix does not have to pour fuel on the fire.
Omar agrees and also believes that Netflix has chosen to use the reactions to increase exposure.
– I think it’s really right, against both Ola and Milly, she says.
