A series based on the hit video game series Fallout is in the works. Now the entertainment website Vanity Fair has delivered the first exclusive images of the upcoming game adaptation.
The Fallout video game franchise has thrilled gamers for many years, most recently with Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 from Bethesda. Next year the well-known series will be expanded with a series. The project is being implemented by the two Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan.
Now there were the first pictures on Vanity Fair, which provided a first insight into the series and show weapons from the Brotherhood of Steel as well as characters from the film adaptation.

What will the Fallout series be about? The series is set in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles in 2077 and will deal with a new storyline – but at the same time will also take up familiar elements from the games.
The setting for the series is Vault 33 in Los Angeles, a location not previously featured in the games. The plot revolves around the young woman Lucy, who lives in an underground vault.

But one day she is forced to go to the surface and finds a dangerous post-apocalyptic world. For example, she has to be careful of giant insects and mutated animals.
The events of the series are also considered canon for the video game series, as Bethesda director Todd Howard revealed.
We asked our Fallout expert in the MeinMMO editorial team directly what he thought of the pictures. He is optimistic:
The first pictures look extremely promising. As a Fallout fan, I am particularly impressed by the power armor and weapons of the Brotherhood of Steel, although the costume of the ghoul shown is also very reminiscent of what we know from Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.
The only criticisms I see are the perhaps a bit too futuristic flying buildings and the lack of dirt, especially on the actors’ vault jumpers. But you really have to work hard to find something to complain about.

The cast of the series includes Walton Goggins, Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, Mike Doyle, Moises Arias and Johnny Pemberton.
