Rijksen already had a considerable collection of mopeds when a friend died in 2012, leaving him forty mopeds. “I didn’t know that either,” the pensioner says, laughing. At first he thought: I’m not going to start. “I didn’t have any space.” But when his wife said he couldn’t make that, he changed course. And the idea for a museum was born.
