(Tiper Stock Exchange) – “CDP Foundation is a recently established foundationand, despite this, we supported already 45 initiatives which involved more than 25,000 students and 2,000 teachers. We made a strategic choice, deciding to allocate our resources in particular to Southern Italy. In fact, in 2022 alone, 40% of the total was addressed to projects in the South and, in 2023, the figure will reach at least 50%”.
He said it Frances SofiaDirector General, CDP Foundation on the occasion of the event “Youth and Work for the future of the South” promoted by Deserve Foundationemphasizing that “the South represents a territory of opportunities and resources, but above all a place where Initiatives of this type create a tangible impact: just think that 90% of the kids involved last year in a training project supported by the CDP Foundation with Generation Italy, found a employment at the end of the course”.
“We are experimenting with projects capable of having an impact and that are able to become systemic, the great challenge of the CDP Foundation is to create a system through replicable models that can be adopted not only in the South but throughout Italy, and to which more and more people can join. Precisely in this regard, the other day we launched our first Call dedicated to the theme of early school leaving, sul which we will be able to carefully monitor the results that the winning projects will be able to produce. This measurement will eventually allow us to export the model and amplify its benefits,” concluded Sofia.
