According to CD Projekt Red’s associate game director Pawel Sasko, Witcher 4 will be the most advanced of CD Projekt Red’s games.

Exciting Details About Witcher 4

However, since 2020, the studio has been quiet about releasing games, leaving fans eagerly waiting for their next move. Projects currently in development include the next Cyberpunk game and Witcher 4. Recent discussions about these projects, especially Witcher 4, have further fueled the excitement.

CD Projekt Red’s associate game director, Pawel Sasko, spoke about the upcoming projects in an interview with The Flow podcast. Sasko stated that all the games currently in development are in the “early stages” and that we shouldn’t expect any information about them anytime soon. However, he added that out of all of CD Projekt Red’s games, the “most advanced” one will be The Witcher 4. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, considering that most of the studio’s developers are involved in the project.

The next installment of the Witcher series, codenamed Polaris, will begin active production in 2024. This ambitious project will be the first of a new trilogy and promises to introduce many new elements while remaining true to the core experience that fans love. One of the most significant changes is that CD Projekt Red confirmed that Geralt of Rivia will not be the protagonist of the next game, hinting at a new direction for the series.
