– We are cautiously positive ahead of the week and on early Monday morning the situation was tolerable and not at all as chaotic as during the weekend, says Ola Österling, press spokesperson for the Stockholm Police.
Swedavia has decided not to close roads to Terminal 5 on Monday morning and the traffic situation so far seems acceptable.
– There are a lot of people and long queues at Arlanda, but still a better situation is during Saturday and Sunday when the rush started already at 03:00, says Ola Österling.
The Border Police recommends those who are traveling to keep a daily check on Swedavia’s website, where the situation is continuously updated.
