(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Positive results for Piazza Affariwhich shows a significant advantage over the cautious rest of Europe, ahead of the ECB meeting next week and the now expected 50 point interest rate hike.
On the foreign exchange market, theEuro / US Dollar the session continued just below parity, with a drop of 0.25%. L’Gold the session continued at the previous levels, reporting a variation of +0.08%. Oil (Light Sweet Crude Oil) down (-0.98%) stands at 80.22 dollars per barrel.
Slight worsening of spreadswhich rises to +188 basis points, with an increase of 3 basis points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP equal to 4.09%.
Among the main European Stock Exchanges essentially unchanged Frankfurtwhich reports a moderate +0.11%, remains close to parity London (-0.02%); flat Paris, which holds parity. Day of earnings for the Milan Stock Exchange, with the FTSEMIB, which shows a capital gain of 0.83%; along the same lines, the FTSE Italia All-Share ends the day up 1.24%.
The exchange value in today’s session in Piazza Affari it was equal to 2.29 billion euros, with an increase of no less than 526.5 million euros, equal to 29.94%, compared to the previous 1.76 billion; while the volumes traded went from 0.48 billion shares in the previous session to today’s 0.6 billion.
Between best performers of Milan, in evidence Saipem (+4.50%), Buzzi Unicem (+2.45%), Moncler (+2.37%) and STMicroelectronics (+2.32%).
The strongest sales, however, fell on Pirelliwhich finished trading at -1.25%.
Thoughtful Telecom Italywith a fractional decline of 0.70%.
At the top among Italian stocks a mid-cap, Cementir Holding (+7.41%), Brunello Cucinelli (+4.09%), Piaggio (+3.55%) and Maire Tecnimont (+2.99%).
The strongest sales, however, fell on Saphiluswhich finished trading at -8.74%.
In red De’Longhiwhich shows a marked decrease of 2.60%.
The negative performance of Ariston Holdingwhich drops by 2.48%.
Luve drops by 2.07%.
