(Finance) – Cattolica Assicurazionia company controlled by Generali Insurancehas today completed the sale of the investment held in IMA Italia, equal to 35% of the related share capital, to Inter Mutuelles Assistance, (for an amount of € 9.7 million) and of the investment held, also through subsidiaries, in IMA Servizi, totaling 10% of the related share capital, to IMA Italia (for an amount of approximately 166 thousand euros).
The disposals will lead to the emergence of a modest capital gain.
The aforementioned sales were implemented in execution of the purchase option that Inter Mutuelles Assistance exercised, in compliance with the provisions of the existing agreements, following the change of control of Cattolica following the completion of the takeover bid launched by Assicurazioni Generali.
