“Today, the restaurant sector counts beyond 600 thousand active women and 96 thousand female-run businesses, equal to 8% of female businesses in the tertiary sector, out of a total of 1 million and 242 thousand in Italy. As FIPE we are committed every day to supporting female empowerment through shared initiatives and projects such as SicurezzaVera, in collaboration with the State Police, multiple training courses, coaching and specific workshops to develop and strengthen female business culture. Programs and activities that are bringing excellent results in the diffusion of issues relating to gender culture”, she underlined.
“To further develop female entrepreneurship, it is necessary to work on building a shared gender culture, aimed at creating awareness and raising awareness of the obstacles and complications that a woman still finds today on the path that leads her to starting a business.
