M. escaped from the Pompekliniek in Nijmegen on November 30 last year while on leave and is said to have stabbed the woman from Soest, his ex-girlfriend, several times with a knife, hit her and squeezed her throat. Her 5-year-old son witnessed the stabbing and was seriously traumatized.
