Car of the Year in Turkey The cars that will compete for the award have been determined. The list includes many very popular models.
Bahadır Bektaş by Here as reported Automotive Journalists Association (OGD) It will compete for the “Car of the Year in Turkey” award given by 28 cars were identified. 7 of the following vehicles will make it to the finals with the votes of automotive journalists, and then the leader will be determined:
“BMW 5 Series, BYD Atto 3, Chery Omoda 5, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, Dacia Spring, DFSK Fengon 5, DFSK Fengon 500, DFSK Glory 580, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Honda ZR-V, Honda CR-V, Hongqi E-HS9, Hyundai Kona, Hyundai IONIQ 6, Jeep Avenger, Kia Cerato, Kia EV9, Leapmotor T03, Lexus LM, Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe, Mercedes-Benz E Series, MG Marvel R, Renault Austral, Renault Megane E-Tech, Tesla Model Y, Togg T10X and finally Toyota C-HR.”
In addition to vehicles with internal combustion engines, the list also includes fully electric car models such as the domestic Togg T10X. The list also includes electric-assisted hybrid vehicles, with popular models mainly based in Germany, China, France and South Korea.

The winner of the 2023 car of the year competition in Turkey was Nissan X-Trail. While the “Press Launch of the Year” award was given to the Dacia Jogger launch held in Iğdır and Kars for 2023, the “Innovation of the Year” award was given to the BMW 7 series with its “back seat screen experience” and the “Design of the Year” category award was given to the Peugeot 408. In his speech after Nissan X-Trail was chosen as the winner, Nissan Turkey General Manager Charbel Abi Ghanem said that they were very happy with this decision made by automotive journalists. Ghanem continued his words as follows: “As you all know, Nissan X-Trail is a capable SUV that offers a unique experience both in the city and outside the city and will meet the needs of Turkish families. “We are proud to win this valuable award.”
