Cars BYD registrations quintupled in Italy in the last quarter

(Finance) – BYD closed 2024 globally with more than 4.25 million cars sold, recording growth of 41% compared to the previous year. Of these, 60% are plug-in hybrid cars which have grown by 73% compared to last year. In a note, the Chinese company also underlined the results achieved in Italy. In fact, in the last quarter of the year the company achieved over 3,200 contracts, of which over 1,500 in the month of December: an increase that marks a notable leap, quintupling the numbers recorded in the previous quarter.

This trend of constant exponential growth made it possible to register in the year 2,886 unitsrapidly climbing market shares, reaching 0.6% in December, after an average of 0.09% in the first nine months.
