But it’s not something the player notices at all, and that makes Caroline Seger react strongly.

Above all, Seger is annoyed that EFD, which acts in the best interests of the clubs, now wants to deteriorate the collective agreement. General secretary Hoszek has announced in previous interviews that 80% of the money from sponsors and broadcasting company Viaplay goes directly to the clubs in the Damallsvenskan and that they are well aware of where the money goes.
– In terms of information, there is nothing and the clubs say nothing, because they have agreements that mean they are not allowed to talk. So I don’t know what he is referring to in that case, says a critical Caroline Seger in the interview.

The Swedish national team captain is now appealing for better and clearer communication so that everyone can find a solution to this conflict.
– I just want us to be able to discuss, because hopefully we all want women’s football in Sweden to move forward and get better, for there to be a change. Then you have to start talking. We can stand here and have a pie war in the media, but that will lead nowhere, says Seger to the evening newspaper.
