Dallas’ Jani Hakanpää, Arizona’s Juuso Välimäki and Florida’s Aleksander Barkov were responsible for the Finns’ situational goals in the 13-game NHL round.
A round of 13 games was played in the NHL on the night before Friday Finnish time.
In a match that stretched to the winning goal race, the Carolina Hurricanes won 4–3 over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Finnish striker of the away team Carolina Sebastian Aho succeeded in the sixth pair and decided the victory.
The goalkeeper who saved 52 times in the match Andrei Vasilevskiy had to bow before Aho’s skillful performance.
Teuvo Teräväinen was another of Carolina’s successful field goals. Teräväinen, who shot fourth, kept Carolina in the race with his hit.

Six Finns scored in the meeting between Dallas and Arizona
The Finnish hockey players of the Dallas Stars were strongly featured when the Texas team defeated Arizona 7–2 in the away bowl.
Dallas jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the opening set and led 6-0 at the beginning of the third period before Arizona’s two tying goals.
Roope Hintz recorded two assists, Miro Heiskanen and Esa Lindell one. Jani Hakanpää finished 7–2 in the final set. The goal was the Finnish defender’s second this season.

Barkov hit with superiority
Florida Panthers’ Finnish star Alexander Barkov scored for the second time this season in Florida’s 4–3 win over the San Jose Sharks after the game-winning goal contest. Barkov scored the opening goal of the match with superiority by Anton Lundell input.
Lundell, 21, also assisted on Florida’s important 3-3 equalizer just over a minute before the end of regular time.
In the contest for the winning goal, he scored Florida’s decisive hit Sam Reinhart in the fourth pair.
Husso and Lankinen rejected the wins
Ville Husso made 33 saves against the Detroit Red Wings as Detroit defeated the Washington Capitals 3–1 at home.
Responsible for Washington’s only hit Alexander Ovechkin scored the 786th goal of his career, with which he rose to share Gordie Howen named after the NHL record for the number of goals scored in the same club. The 37-year-old Russian striker has played his entire career in Washington.
