She is married to the former pole vaulter Patrik Klüft, formerly Kristiansson, since 2007 and together they have children Laleh, Amie and Nova. Now “Carro” talks about how terrible her three births were.
– Yes, so I broke my tailbone. It sounds brutal, but you can say that the tailbone dislocated every time. I have given birth to three children and every time the tailbone has dislocated, she says in the interview.
– The first time it happened, the whole room and the midwife thought about, what was it? And I didn’t understand anything either, it just hurt so terribly. But then quite quickly I understood that there was something with the coccyx, because I could not lie on the coccyx and down towards the butt. It took maybe nine months to a year before I was pain free.

“Panicked”

The first child came in 2014 and then it was time again both in 2017 and 2019. The time in the hospital was just as horrible the second time as well.
– Then I actually thought that I would avoid it after the second birth. But… Then it narrowed again. Then I just wanted to run away, I panicked. The midwife caught me and just: “Now you calm down!”. It hurt so terribly the second time, it was even worse, says Klüft in the interview.
– But the third time, then I was mentally prepared, so I steeled myself. I knew it was going to pop and when it did, I caught my breath and said to Patrik: “Now it’s going to pop.” And then I continued.

Then she is asked if a fourth birth could be relevant.
– No, now it’s good, says Carolina with a smile.
