In the hockey NHL, the playoffs between Carolina Hurricanes and the New York Rangers advance to the seventh match. Rangers, who hosted the sixth game, took a 5-2 win over the Hurricanes and leveled the winnings in the series to 3-3. The sequel comes off with four wins.
With Carolina paint Antti Raanta had time to fight 10/13 times before he skated for the exchange early in the second set.
The decisive game of the match series will be played early Tuesday in Finnish time in Carolina’s home cave.
The NY Rangers, who grabbed their sixth consecutive home win, have played strongly at home just like Carolina. Carolina, meanwhile, have played historically miserably in the away corner, making the team the first team in NHL history to lose their first six away games in the playoffs.
The Rangers immediately moved to the driver’s seat
The Rangers started the sixth fight of the match series with a roar when Tyler Motte and Mika Zibanejad (yv) relegated the home team to a 2-0 lead early in the first set.
– This did not surprise me, we came into the game hard. It was key that we got a couple of goals right from the start, Rangers head coach Gerard Gallant stated.
– We weren’t ready. We got on our feet again at the beginning, Carolina’s whip Rod Brind’Amour annoyed.
At the beginning of the second round, the match was scored 3–0 behind Raanna’s back Filip Chytilwho also succeeded in scoring towards the end of the game. The Czech striker was chosen as the number one star of the match.
Rangers scored the fifth goal at the start of the third set with superiority Artemi Panarin.
Carolina’s goals in the second set were matched Brady Skjei and Vincent Trocheck. Sebastian Aho was Skjein’s top scorer.

With the Rangers goal, the victory was guaranteed 37/39 times Igor Shesterkin, who also recorded two entry points. The Russian goalkeeper, who was chosen as the second star of the match, became the Fifth Goalkeeper in NHL history, scoring two assists in one playoff game. He was involved in 2-0 and 4-1 goals.
