Legendary US guitarist Carlos Santana passed out on stage during an outdoor concert in Detroit.
Santana, 74, was taken to a nearby hospital to be kept under observation after first aid teams responded.
Mexican-born Carlos Santana later stated on his Facebook account that he “forgot to eat and drink water” and therefore passed out.
His manager, Michael Vrionis, also said that Santana is in good health. However, a concert that was supposed to be held in Pennsylvania today has been postponed to a later date.
In the footage taken while Santana was on stage, the artist was seen waving to the audience while being taken off the stage on a stretcher.

Carlos Santana, who became famous in the 1960s, became one of the pioneers of the rock world with his works that mix rock ‘n’ roll and Latin American jazz music.
The band’s best-known songs include Black Magic Woman, The Game of Love, and Oye Como Va.

Last February, Santana’s concerts were canceled after it was discovered that Santana and other members of his band had contracted the coronavirus.
In December, Santana canceled a series of concerts in Las Vegas due to undisclosed heart surgery.
