The car was traveling on the E6 in a southbound direction, but drove into the stream on the same road at the height of Vellinge, the police say.
Blue light personnel in the form of police, ambulance and rescue services were on site but have now left the scene of the accident.
All unharmed
In addition to two people, there were also two dogs in the car.
– All passengers are unharmed, the dogs and passengers and all units have left the scene, says Evelina Olsson, press spokesperson in the police region South, to TV4 Nyheterna.
It is currently unclear how the accident happened, but the police do not suspect any crime.
