“It was a strange message,” says Etienne Bouwman from Zeist about the phone call he received almost two weeks ago. “I was lying in bed and was woken up by a call from my girlfriend, who said that part of the parking garage had collapsed. I thought the car had been there, end of exercise,” he says. Etienne’s girlfriend works at the St. Antonius Hospital in Nieuwegein, and was at work that evening.
