The accident occurred at 2 p.m. between Ödeshög and Gränna when a passenger car driving in the northbound direction suddenly ended up in the southbound direction. The passenger car overturned and a rescue operation began.
Three people were taken to hospital by ambulance. It is unclear what the injuries are.
Traffic was closed completely in the southbound direction and one lane also had to be closed in the northbound direction. Large queues were formed and traffic had to be re-routed and even tow trucks had to be called.
