The car in which the five people were traveling overturned after hitting the center barrier.
The people had to be taken by ambulance to hospital, and according to Region Skåne, a woman in her 40s is seriously injured. The condition of the other victims is unknown.
– It is considered a serious accident, says police spokesperson Sara Andersson.
Later on Saturday afternoon, the police announced that the incident was classified as gross negligence in traffic and gross bodily harm.
The accident initially had a major impact on traffic, with stops in both directions.
