(Finance) – It should arrive tomorrow Official Journal the decree with the new scheme car incentives for 2024. From June it will be possible to apply. The preview comes from Sole 24 Ore which indicates that the process started on April 2nd has now come to an end. The provision, signed by the ministries of Business and Made in Italy, Economy, Infrastructure and the Environment, reached the Court of Auditors on 15 April which had 30 days to carry out the checks.
The new scheme provides 950 million euros. The largest part of the resources is allocated to the purchase of electric and plug-in hybrid cars. The state contribution it will depend on your income, the presence of a vehicle to be scrapped, and what type, and the characteristics of the vehicle you intend to purchase. The 2024 car ecobonuses are generally aimed at natural or legal persons who intend to purchase non-polluting vehicles.
As anticipated, the largest portion is intended for the purchase of car electrical. In fact, approximately 240 million will be allocated to incentivize the purchase of cars that fall within the CO2 emissions range between 0 and 20 g/km with a price equal to or less than 35,000 euros excluding VAT. Without scrapping there is a contribution of 6 thousand euros in the 0-20 range and 4 thousand in the 21-60 range. By scrapping a Euro 4 you will be able to benefit from 9 thousand euros in the 0-20 range, 5,500 in the 21-60 range and 1,500 in the 61-135 range.
Instead, 150 million euros are earmarked for cars plug-in hybridsbetween 21 and 60 g/km, which will finance the purchase of cars with a price equal to or less than 45 thousand euros excluding VAT with a contribution of 4 thousand euros, to which a further 4 thousand will be added if a vehicle from Euro 0 to Euro 2 is scrapped , or even 2,000 euros if Euro 3 or 1,500 if Euro 4. Smaller figures will go for used cars (20 million), light commercial vehicles (53 million) and rental (50 million).
Space for resources also for installing the mode bifuel (LPG or methane) on your petrol car: on cars approved in a class not lower than Euro 4, the contribution is equal to 400 euros for the LPG and 800 euros for the methane.
