A car has driven off the road and onto a pavement at Kungens kurva near Ikea south of Stockholm. Four people have received minor injuries, the police say.
According to witnesses, two cars collided, and one of the drivers then lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road. Four people standing by the side of the road received minor injuries, mainly scrapes, according to the police.
Several cars and many people were at the scene.
– We are investigating crimes, says police spokesperson Helena Boström Thomas.
The driver who drove off the road is suspected of gross negligence in traffic and causing bodily harm.
The other car involved in the accident fled the scene.
According to Expressen, a street race was taking place at the site. The police cannot comment on that information.
